As a specialist contact lens practice we offer an extremely wide range of contact lenses including daily or monthly wear, single vision or multifocal and they can be used to correct all types of vision including astigmatism, long and short sight.  We even have lenses that can help correct your vision as you sleep (OrthoK).

Different types of contact lenses are available to correct various eye conditions and lifestyle but they can broadly be grouped into:

Daily Disposable A ‘soft contact lens’ which is used once and then disposed of at the end of the day.
Reusable Available as 2 weekly, monthly or up to three monthly disposable lenses. To be used during the day and removed overnight.
Extended Wear Contact Lenses that can be slept in for up to a month.
Rigid Gas Permeable Often referred to as ‘hard lenses’. This type of lens is an option for most prescriptions and is usually replaced every 12-18months.
Soft Multifocals for Myopia Management Myopia is predicted to be one of the biggest causes of preventable blindness in the future. There are now treatments available to try to manage the rate of progression and reduce the risk of long term complications. TK&S were one of the first practices in the country to offer MiSight(c) and NaturalVue(c), two daily disposable contact lenses licensed for Myopia Management.
Ortho K (Orthokeratology) Ortho K lenses are a revolutionary vision correction therapy. These specially designed rigid gas permeable contact lens that are worn overnight. They gently correct vision while you sleep, eliminating the need for contact lenses or glasses during the day. Ortho K has also been proven to be a very effective method for myopia management.
