Very young children are only prescribed contact lenses in exceptional circumstances but we regularly prescribe for children of 10 and over.

We have to be sure that you and your child are aware of the high level of care required to maintain contact lenses so that they remain safe and comfortable. As with our adult patients, contact lenses are prescribed with a commitment to regular check ups so we can be certain that eyes stay healthy.
